Think Tank wins NOAALink

Think Tank Wins NOAALink, a 10-Year, $2.5 Billion IDIQ with the Department of Commerce. Silver Spring, MD

Think Tank, Inc. (, a leading enterprise management and IT solutions provider, announced today it has been awarded a ten-year, multiple award, IDIQ contract by the United States Department of Commerce (DOC) to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Think Tank was selected as one of five small businesses awardees for NOAALink, a strategic initiative dedicated to improving NOAA’s IT service management and governance with a potential overall value of $2.5 billion. 

NOAA’s most critical mission is to manage and deliver critical data and information to citizens and businesses in the areas of weather and water forecasts, search and rescue, climate change, environmental images, coastal maps, and ecosystems management, for the preservation of life and property, and for conserving and protecting natural resources. NOAALink is a progressive program that partners with industry to achieve the strategic goals of:
 • Establishing secure, enterprise-wide IT standardized solutions;
 • Enable the NOAA mission;
 • Maximize agility and innovation in IT service delivery;
 • Deliver cost effective IT solutions;
 • Foster strategic partnerships; and
 • Create effective IT governance. 

NOAALink support will focus on IT Service Area requirements grouped within the five critical management components of Strategic Management, Customer Care, Infrastructure Management, Business Management, and Information Security and Risk Management.
